The campers are accommodated in our newly built stable-hotel, which offers a unique experience because it is located above the stables and has windows that face the horses’ boxes. The stable-hotel consists of separate bedrooms for boys and girls, a joint bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room. The accommodation is a full board and which also includes multiple snacks and warm beverages throughout the day.
The application process is completed online over the application link. The basic camp fee for five days is 500 KM, for the second child we grant a 10% discount. We offer a special discount for the members of the Horse Club Sarajevo. The price must be payed on the first day of the camp when the camper is taken over by our team.
Lazy Horse van collects all the campers on Monday morning at 8:00 am in front of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival to Lazy Horse, the children will settle in, eat breakfast, and get accustomed to the daily schedule. The campers return on Friday at 8:00 pm in front of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In variants of the daily camp, transportation in personal engagement.
If your child possesses horse-riding equipment, please make sure to pack that equipment including a safety vest and a helmet. If your child does not posses this equipment, please make sure that your child brings shoes or boots with a small heel and comfortable trousers. All other necessary equipment will be leased for use at Lazy Horse.Other items your child should bring include clothes for trips such as: comfortable clothes for outside trips, sneakers, possibly a raincoat, wellington boots or any kind of waterproof boots or shoes, and a small backpack. Other items your child should bring are: clothes for free time and activities, personal hygiene products, slippers, a towel, and clothes for the costume ball and disco night.

Activities with horses:
Caring for horses (grooming, preparing a horse for a show, braiding a horse’s mane)
Groundwork and natural horsemanship (basics)
Horse-riding once per day

Educational activities:
Fun theoretical lessons in the stables
Spending time with a vet who teaches us about equine sickness and guides us through a veterinary check of a horse, which is necessary knowledge for every rider

Creative workshops, games, competitions
Winter/summer games
Face painting and costume ball night
Karaoke disco night
Movie night

Trips:
Exploring the Megara cave
Adventure in the stećak forest (search for the bear’s mess) accompanied by our Nana, our guard dog

Final Exam:
1. Theoretical Exam (covers general knowledge about horses)
2. Practical Exam - (preparing and leading your horse, working on a lunging rope, horse-riding);
